About China Spain Science & Technology Cooperation Day

In order to deepen the development of scientific and technological collaboration between Spain and China, and following the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Spain, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Spain promotes and sponsors this 2024 China-Spain Science and Technology Cooperation Theme Day, organised by the University of Zaragoza, which will take place on September 25, 2024 in the Paraninfo building of the University of Zaragoza.

Mission

This event aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between higher education and scientific research institutions in China and Spain, to show the results of the transfer of research between Spanish and Chinese companies, and to promote future collaboration in scientific-technological innovation and its industrial application between the two countries. The Conference will focus on four cutting-edge sectors (artificial intelligence, biotechnology, advanced materials and renewable energies), and will feature relevant Spanish and Chinese scientific experts in these four areas, as well as representatives of well-known companies in the same four technologies, also highlighted by the Sino-Spanish collaboration.
